Developed over 3000 years ago, Yoga and Ayurveda medicine share the same origin - the traditional Vedic system of health care. Together they believe that health and wellness depends on a delicate balance between body, mind and spirit.
Jane Macpherson is a senior yoga teacher and a qualified yoga therapist who uses Ayurveda principles in her teaching and therapy work. Debbie Stokes is a Reiki master who has studied the ancient Ayurvedic system of healthcare and uses her knowledge to help herself and others achieve optimum well being.
This workshop explores these concepts in more detail giving you practical ways to help achieve your own personal wellbeing. Jane and Debbie will show you how your yoga practices and the lifestyle choices you make, including food choices can best serve you. Bringing you to a state of balance, vitality and overall wellness.
During the day, you will be asked to complete a questionnaire which will help Debbie to determine your particular 'dosha' picture. Based on this, you will be guided through yoga practices, daily routines and foods that will best serve your personal situation.
